Pragmatism versus (over-)planning
We’ve all been there. Our browsers are stuffed with them, our notes are overflowing, and we frequently have detailed plan on tackling them: on-line programs about Machine Studying, articles about Machine Studying, movies about Machine Studying.
Roaming across the web, we’re endlessly populating our listing of “cool ML sources.” After we discover a pre-made curriculum about how we are able to be taught ML in X days, it’s as if now we have hit the jackpot. “That’s precisely what I wanted,” we inform ourselves, “that’s how I can be taught ML.” We’re enthusiastic about ML, and we rapidly get equipped by shiny new issues, programs, studying materials.
